1. Membership
Notary Support Network is a professional membership community for notaries, loan signing agents, title professionals, attorneys, and related professionals. By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep your credentials and contact details current.
2. Acceptable use
Members agree to communicate professionally, to use the member directory only for legitimate professional purposes, and never to harvest, resell, or bulk-market to member contact information. Harassment, misrepresentation of credentials, and fraudulent activity result in removal.
3. No legal advice
Membership, directory listings, and shared resources are for informational and networking purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created through your use of the community.
4. Member-to-member connections and arrangements
Notary Support Network is a professional networking platform that helps members find and connect with other members. Members are independent professionals. TNSN is not an employer, agent, partner, representative, or contractor of any member, and is not a party to arrangements made between members. Notary Support Network does not employ, supervise, endorse, insure, or guarantee any member or the work they perform. Any engagement, referral, witness arrangement, backup coverage, mentoring relationship, professional collaboration, or other arrangement made through a TNSN connection is made directly between the participating members. Members decide whom they contact, work with, hire, refer, mentor, assist, or otherwise engage, and members set the terms of their own arrangements, including any compensation. TNSN does not supervise or control the performance of services arranged between members, and does not guarantee the conduct, availability, qualifications, performance, work product, reliability, or outcome of a member-to-member engagement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TNSN is not responsible for disputes, losses, damages, or other outcomes arising from arrangements made independently between members.
5. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
6. Membership fees
Founding Membership is currently free. If paid membership tiers are introduced, existing members will be notified in advance and no charge will be applied without consent.
7. Miles, our AI research assistant
Miles is TNSN's AI research assistant for notaries. Miles provides educational and informational assistance only. Miles is not a lawyer, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. AI systems can make mistakes, and Miles's responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or not applicable to your particular facts or circumstances. When a question depends on state notary law or requirements, Miles is designed to use TNSN's verified official-source system, which draws on official notary law and government sources for all 50 states. Using verified official sources reduces unsupported reliance, but it does not guarantee that every Miles response is correct, complete, current, or applicable to your situation. You should review the sources Miles provides and verify applicable requirements with the appropriate state commissioning authority or another authoritative source before relying on an answer. Miles does not make professional or legal decisions for you; you remain responsible for your professional judgment, decisions, actions, and compliance with applicable requirements.
8. Photos, images, and documents shared with Miles
Members may provide supported photos, images, or documents to Miles and ask for help understanding and navigating the material. Miles may help explain visible wording, layout, fields, sections, or notarial content. Miles does not complete documents for you, does not determine the legal effect or validity of a document, does not tell a signer what they should sign, and does not select a notarial act for a signer when that decision legally belongs to the signer or another authorized person. Miles is not a substitute for legal advice or for your own professional responsibilities.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms or that presents a risk to the community. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the community grows. Material changes will be communicated to members, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
